<p>Cand faci din nimic un &#8220;CEVA&#8221; se cheama magie. Sau tuning, dupa caz &#8211; depinde doar de locul in care se desfasoara. <p>De productie &#8217;78 si echipat din fabrica cu un motor V6 de 90 CP, Taunus-ul a stat multa vreme pe &#8220;tusa&#8221; pana sa intre sub &#8220;tutela&#8221; lui Driver, acum cativa ani buni. Tot la inceput membrul clubului Team CSR nu a avut de suferit doar de pe urma glumelor legate de vechimea si starea in care se afla Taunusul, ci si culoarea &#8211; era rosie!</p>
<p>Totusi, vorbind de nou si vechi, Driver a fost dintotdeauna fan al masinilor vechi. E drept, la 18 ani a primit in dar de la parinti o Dacia 1300 care scartaia din toate incheieturile alaturi de indemnul &#8220;Descurca-te cu ea!&#8221;, insa cu timpul &#8230; lucrurile s-au aranjat. Taunusul l-a achizitionat contra sumei de 250E, insa investitia sa in tuning si reconditionare<br />
depaseste de cateva zeci de ori valoarea de achizitie</p>
<p>Masina a fost 90% modificata la exterior. Bodykitul este unicat, iar demersul nu ar fi fost incununat de succes fara ajutorul lui Roby de la ProTuning. De asemenea, s-a renunat la manere, farurile au fost inlocuite cu unele noi, iar capota care era initial Bad boy look a fost si ea modificata.</p>
<p>In prezent, Taunus-ul este &#8220;incaltat&#8221; cu jante de 16&#8221;, cu flanse originale si, cat priveste partea tehnica, a primit si un motor mai puternic: Cosworth 2.9l, V6 cu 195 CP. Initial, V6-le de fabrica a fost suplimentat cu un compresor mecanic, dar acesta fiind cam depasit tehnic, s-a optat pentru o motorizare mai noua. In aceeasi idee a fost inlocuita si cutia de viteze si s-au montat diferential autoblocant de Mustang, iar sistemul de franare a primit si el un upgrade. Ulterior, a fost montata si servodirectie.</p>
<p> La interior, totul a ramas la fel de clasic cum iti imaginezi. Doar bordul si cateva alte mici detalii au fost modificate. De asemenea, tot in ideea unui look clasic desavarsit, elementele cromate si culoarea neagra  te fac sa-ti doresti MACAR o plimbare la bordul masinii, preferabil undeva aproape de Mulholland Drive.</p>
<p>Cand vorbeste despre planurile de viitor, Driver se gandeste &#8211; previzibil! la un motor mai puternic. Exteriorul este gata, chiar daca capota va suferi mici modifici datorita dimensiunii compresorului aflat pe lista de asteptare. </p>
<p>In asteptarea lui, Taunus-ul &#8220;impusca&#8221; tot ce misca in materie de saloane de tuning. La toate expozitiile la care a fost prezent, vedeta clujeana a obtinut Best Custom, Best Car of the Show la Pitesti 2009, iar in Ungaria, la Mariapocs, Premiul I. Plus un sexy car wash pus la dispozitie de domnisoare entuziasmate de monstrii pe patru roti!</p>

<p>Pana la urmatoarea intalnire, fiti cu ochii-n patru. E drept, daca iti taie calea un Taunus negru nu te asteapta noua ani de ghinion. Inseamna ca Driver si-a scos monstrul la plimbare. La expozitii sau in privat, modelul este intotdeauna o prezenta de neuitat. Iar meritul este doar al proprietarului &#8211; toate modificarile, mai putin partea electrica si vopsitul, au fost realizate integral de el, iar la executia elementelor din fibra de sticla a avut o mare contributie Roby de la Pro Tuning. In fiecare luni dimineata, slujba ta ti se pare cea mai grea din lume, fie ca faci clatite in mall sau te chinui sa spargi atomul, dupa care sa-l lipesti fara sa folosesti macar o picatura de super glue. Izbavirea, insa, e aproape, pentru ca uite ce a trebuit sa faca un grup de oameni de la Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) si Polyphony Digital, companiile raspunzatoare pentru jocul Gran Turismo 5: a trebuit sa decida ce masina va aparea pe coperta jocului. </p>
<p>Au ales dintre aproximativ 1.000 de masini, fiecare in stare sa stoarca multi litri de bale de la oricare dintre noi. Daca exista o sarcina virtual imposibila pe lumea asta, atunci aceea de a alege doar una dintre ele, pentru a aparea pe coperta DVD-ului, trebuie sa fi fost. Dupa ce s-au aruncat multe monede in aer pentru a le elimina una cate una, cei insarcinati cu asta s-au oprit asupra Mercedesului SLS AMG. Rosu. </p>
<p>Acum, fie vorba intre noi, aproape orice ar fi ales ar fi fost bine, deci pe cat de dificila a fost slujba lor, pe atat de inutila, practic. Plus ca indiferent de poza de pe coperta, se stie ca GT 5 va fi un fel de Avatar al jocurilor, copiii transformandu-se deja in ingerasi pentru a obtine banii de la parinti mai usor in martie, atunci cand se va lansa. </p>

<p>Nu de putine ori ne-am uitat la cauciucurile de pe masina, incercand sa descifram codurile si insemnarile de pe acestea. Intreband in stanga si in dreapta, am aflat ca unele cifre arata grosimea anvelopei, inaltimea talonului sau alte informatii. Dar este ceva mai mult de atat. </p>

<p>Acum o sa aflam ca anvelopele nu sunt toate la fel, rezista la anumite viteze si temperaturi, suportand greutati specifice. Trebuie sa stim totul despre cea mai importanta parte a masinii noastre, care face legatura intre sofer si carosabil.</p>
<p>Privind flancul (partea laterala) oricarei anvelope, se pot observa o serie de coduri alfanumerice ce furnizeaza informatii importante despre caracteristicile tehnice ale acesteia. Semnificatiile acestor indici permit realizarea unor comparatii obiective intre diferite modele de anvelope. </p>

<p>Sa vedem ce reprezinta principalele notatii:<br />
1.    Dimensiunea anvelopei – de exemplu 195/65R15. Primul numar, 195 in exemplul nostru, reprezinta latimea anvelopei (L) in milimetrii (195mm); al doilea numar este valoarea ratei de aspect (aspect ratio in engleza) dintre inaltimea anvelopei si latimea acesteia (H), 65 sugerand ca inaltimea este 65% din latime, adica 126.75 mm. R specifica faptul ca anvelopa are constructie radiala (notatia ZR in loc de R este prezenta pe anvelope cu o constructie ce rezista la viteze de peste 240 km/h). Ultimul numar precizeaza valoarea in toli (inci) a diametrului pe care trebuie sa il aiba janta pe care se monteaza anvelopa (in cazul nostru 15 toli = 381mm). La unele anvelope, in fata acestui cod poate fi prezenta notatia P, LT sau T, ce indica tipul autovehicolului pe care se pot monta (P-autoturisme, LT-SUV, Pick Up).<br />
2.    Indicele de greutate – indica sarcina maxima pe care o anvelopa o poate prelua in conditii de exploatare. Corespondenta dintre indice si sarcina suportata, in kilograme, este data de tabelul 1. In exemplu, 91 – indica faptul ca anvelopa poate sustine maxim 615 kg si, facand un calcul simplu, sarcina totala a unui autoturism cu toate cele patru anvelope cu acest indice nu are voie sa depaseasca 2460 kg/</p>

<p>3.    Indicele de viteza – indica viteza maxima la care anvelopa rezista timp de zece minute fara a fi in pericol de a se autodistruge. Vitezele corespunzatoare sunt curpinse in tabelul 2. De exemplu, pentru indicele W, viteza maxima e de 270 km/h. </p>

<p>4.    Prezenta grupului MS, M+S, M/S sau M&amp;S (mud and snow) arata ca anvelopa este una all-season, ce se preteaza atat la folosirea pe zapada, cat si pe noroi.<br />
5.    Simbolul severe snow use vine in completarea notatiei M&amp;S si este prezent pe anvelope destinate mersului pe zapada. Spre deosebire de M&amp;S, care este atribuit anvelopelor ce indeplinesc anumite conditii din punct de vedere al profilului, acest simbol este atribuit in urma testarii anvelopelor pe zapada prin proceduri standartizate. </p>

<p>6.    “Thread wear” este un indice relativ ce ia valori de la 60 la 600 si, cu cat valoarea este mai mare, cu atat anvelopa va rezista mai multi kilometri.<br />
7.    Indicele traction poate avea urmatoarele valori: AA, A, B, C (AA fiind cel mai bun), calificand performantele de franare pe asfalt umed.<br />
8.    Indicele temperature – poate primi drept calificative A, B, C si este o masura a gradului de rezistenta la cresterea de termperatura a anvelopei. </p>

<p>9.    Codul DOT (ex. DVLU  2105) – ofera informatii detaliate despre locul unde a fost fabricata anvelopa. Ultimul numar al acestui cod, in exemplul 2105, precizeaza data de fabricatie a anvelopei. Prima parte – 21, arata ca anvelopa a fost fabricata in a 21-a saptamana a anului specificat de a doua parte a codului – 05, adica 2005 (in cazul anvelopelor fabricate inainte de 2000, subcodul are trei cifre, primele doua dand saptamana de fabricatie, iar cea de-a treia anul din decada). Este importanta cunoasterea acestei date, deoarece, ca o regula generala, o anvelopa nu trebuie folosita dupa 6 ani de la fabricatie, aceasta degradandu-se in timp, indiferent daca este rulata sau noua. </p>

<p>10.    Sageata ce indica sensul de rotatie, pentru anvelopele cu profil unidirectional.</p>

<p>11.    MAX PRESS – indica presiunea maxima pe care o suporta anvelopa.<br />
12.    MAX LOADED – are aceeasi semnificatie ca si indicele de greutate, doar ca arata direct valoarea in kilograme (este prezent doar pe unele anvelope).</p>

<p>Explicatii:<br />
Constructia radiala = a devenit un standard pentru anvelopele destinate autoturismelor (a inlocuit pe cele cu constructie diagonala). Se caracterizeaza prin folosirea de pliuri paralele (impletituri din nylon, poliester, fibra de sticla si mai rar din otel, imbracate in cauciuc), care fac unghi de 90 de grade cu planul de rulare, stabilizarea facandu-se printr-o armatura. Aceste pliuri, cunoscute in mod normal sub denumirea de carcasa, alcatuiesc un perete lateral extrem de flexibil, care permite o amortizare buna a neregularitatilor, dar nu prezinta stabilitate directionala. Aceasta stabilitate este insa asigurata cu ajutorul unor insertii metalice in peretii laterali. Calea de rulare a anvelopei este realizata din mai multe straturi alcatuite din otel, fibra de sticla si textile asezate la unghiuri de aproximativ 20 de grade fata de planul caii de rulare. Acestea ajuta la stabilizarea caii de rulare in timpul virajelor, mentinand o suprafata cat mai mare in contact cu soseaua.</p>
<p>1 tol (inch) = unitate de masura echivalenta cu 25.4 milimetrii.</p>
<p>Profilul caii de rulare (thread pattern) = desenul sau modelul suprafetei de contact a anvelopei cu asfaltul. Acesta este unul dintre factorii importanti ce determina performantele unei anvelope. Sunt trei profiluri: simetric, asimetric si unidirectional.</p>
<p>Daca daca trecuta am detaliat putin domeniul jantelor clasice, acum speram ca am reusit sa lamurim si a doua parte care formeaza o roata, aceea a anvelopelor. Acestea nu doar ca au rol de siguranta si de aderenta, dar alese corespunzator, ne fac viata mai usoara. Vom reveni in articolele viitoare cu informatii mai complexe legate si de jante si de anvelope, pentru cresterea performantei.</p>

O berlina care face de rusine orice BMW care se mandreste ca are in jur de 150 cp. Nu o spunem noi, o spun cursele! O Dacie cum &#8220;aveau batranii care alergau pe coasta&#8221;, spune Robert, proprietarul masinii. Dar cum de a reusit sa faca o Dacie turbo care merge cu 200 km/h?</p>
<p>In afara de caroserie, care nu a scapat nici ea de modificari, nu am putea spune ce a ramas din vechea Dacie. Motorul are schimbata chiulasa cu una Crossflow de R5 Alpine. Carburatorul este Solex 32 DIS cu jicloare modificate pentru a avea amestecul de aer si combustibil bun (AFR) la 1,5 bari. Vibrochenul si volanta au fost usurate. Axa cu came este la 282 de grade. Turbosuflanta este KKK, iar intercoolerul de la un VW Golf 2. Pentru racirea uleiului, s-a montat un radiator. Motoarele turbo functioneaza la temperaturi foarte mari, asa ca a fost imbunatatit sistemul de racire si lubrifiere a motorului, iar baia de ulei este cu antival.</p>

<p>Aprinderea este electronica, cu senzor la volanta, de la un R5 Turbo. Pentru ca benzina sa faca fata turbinei, s-au montat doua pompe de benzina ce ridica presiunea la 7 bari. Pentru a termina cu minunile de sub capota, Robert a mai montat un blow-off de la Forge si un boost controler in masina, tot Forge. Traseul de admisie este din inox, la fel si cel de evacuare, de 50 mm. Cert este ca, intr-un final, masina dezvolta 130 de cp cu aceste modificari. Dar acum acestia nue rau indeajuns, un sistem Nitro umed a venit in ajutor, crescand puterea la 200 cp cand acesta este declansat. Shot-ul de protoxid este de 75 cp. O Dacie Berlina care are 200 cp &#8230; Cine ar fi crezut ca se poate asa ceva?</p>
<p>Dar ca sa ajunga toata puterea pe asfalt, a mai fost nevoie de cateva modificari. Bare stabilizatoare de 24 mm pe fata si doua de 17 mm pe spate, amortizoare fata scurtate si intarite &#8220;dupa propria reteta&#8221;, arcuri scurte si tari, bucsi de relon, ambreiaj 200 mm cu placa de presiune de R5 Turbo, planetare Dacia si cutie de viteze tot de Dacie, cu grup conic 9X34 si raport final de 0,76:1. La o astfel de putere, nici franele nu au fost neglijate &#8211; pompa de frana VW &#8211; Audi, dublu circuit, servo-asistata, discuri de frana ventilate de VW cu etrieri Dacia Nova. Jantele sunt acum in 4 prezoane, marca ATS, 15X7j cu anvelope Dunlop 195X50Xr15 de la Pneumax.</p>
<p>Caroseria si interiorul nu au scapat nici ele de modificari &#8211; caroseria a fost intarita, aripile modificate si evazate cu pasaje de fibra de sticla, model Golf 1. Ambele capote, de la motor la portbagaj, au sigurante la blocare, ca masinile de raliu. In interior, primul lucru care nu are cum sa-ti scape este roll bar-ul de strada, din spatele scaunelor fata. Usile spate sunt acum &#8220;shaved&#8221;, cu clantele ascunse. Geamurile fata sunt electrice, iar cele doua din spate au ramas fara macarale, pe motiv de usurare a masinii. Tot in acest scop s-a renuntat la scuturile de la motor, rezervor si bancheta spate.Si daca nu ar fi fost suficient, planurile lui Robert sunt mari pe viitor. </p>
<p>Urmeaza montarea unui roll-bar serios, injectie multipunct si unichip. Iar daca se gasesc sponsori cu date de mana, se vrea atingerea pragului de 300 cp pe o Dacie cu tractiune integrala. Un autoturism scos pe usile UAP, urcat la 300 cp si cu tractiune integrala? Robert ne asigura ca nu este o gluma. Si suntem siguri ca o va putea face. E doar o chestie de timp.</p>
